All Praise is due to Allah (SWT) the Lord of the Worlds and Peace and Salutations be upon on our Beloved Prophet Nabi Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him)

It is almost three years now, since we have moved to our new premises in Cedara. The journey to expand took a bit long as we had to remove the squatters from our land, obtain an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) clearance and submit our building plans. We have now begun the new building expansion in a phased manner.

Phase one will include the construction of the boarding and lodging block together with a special Darul Qur’an block. The boarding and lodging buildings are designed to be disabled friendly and will include a kitchen,dining room, cold room, chiller storage, ablution facility etc. Our Gym and Hall will be on the top floor of this building.

There will be classrooms and a Musallah on the ground floor of the Darul Quran block. The first floor will hold our library. We have planned a big library in order to hold the huge collection of Braille books that are presently stored in containers. This will then result in our students having more ease in accessing their books. Our dedicated computer classrooms, Braille press and Qur’an Museum are to be housed in the Darul Qur’an.

The old Musallah in the existing building presently being used will be exclusively for Ladies Salaah facilities. Many travelers stop at our Madrassa for Salaah as we are situated next to the main N3 highway, with easy off ramp access, north and south bound (exit 96) seventeen kilometers from Pietermaritzburg. A purpose built Masjid will soon follow, Insha Allah.
